3. What does Qi mean in Tao Mao
Healing System? (Master Mao loves you to
tell him what Qi means to you.)
In ancient China, Qi could mean Tao energy or Universal energy or vital life force; in today’s China, people consider that Qi has two parts:
Part one is mainly composed of four parts. Chinese Qi research shows that these four parts are bioelectrical energy, bio-chemical energy, bio-magnetic energy and infrared.
They have also discovered part two, which are some mysterious unknown rays and other unknown substances. Part two can produce some events and phenomena, which modern science cannot explain.

4. What is Qi Gong (Chi Kong) and Tai Ji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan) in general?
Qi Gong is a general name of various Chinese healing systems, which offer many ways to self-cultivating Qi. It dates back over 7000 years. Ancient Qi Gong practitioners created such treasures of Chinese civilization as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Kong Fu, Tai Ji Quan, the I Ching and the Tao Teh Ching. Read further, you will understand all these ancient ways created for ancient people living in ancient life style, therefore all these ways must evolve to serve today’s people living in modern life style, some of them have been evolving like the nature.
In general, Qi Gong is a personal practice, which integrates outer physical movements, inner Qi movement, breath-regulation, meditation and visualization to stimulate the Qi, or vital life force and guide Qi flow along the meridians and many other more important Tao Mao routes inside body. Qi Gong promotes optimal health of practitioners; these benefits include physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual improvement. It is an excellent tool for stress management and a safe modified fitness exercises for cardiovascular, neuromuscular, arthritic, and other chronic immune disorders.
Tai Chi is also a type of Qi Gong, a Qi Gong with routines and martial art applications. It is known in China to be more beneficial and more interesting than Qi Gong. Tai Chi Chuan is a Taoist martial art form of meditation in movement, combining mental focus, naturally coordinated breathing, a series of slower, slow, fast, faster and graceful body movements. These movements can be used for self-defense. Practitioners allow body weight or the attention to sink into the abdomen and the bottom of feet; this technique relaxes and deepens the breathing, quiets the mind and, in turn regulates the heartbeat, digestive activities and the various other muscular, neurological, glandular and organic functions.

5.
Why is Tao Mao Healing System one of the Nature's spontaneous
developments?
According to CNN, 85% of Americans over 25 are over weight. Shanghai Evening News reported, “30% of the population in some Chinese major cities are over weight.” Many facts clearly show that most of the popular healing & health methods of the East and West are not working well, especially for people who need them the most. Reportedly, these healing methods are not working as effectively as they promised, while internal and external environments become worse. The outlook of the modern human being’s health and spiritual growth will be very bright when the principles of Tao Mao Healing System are broadly understood.
In general, modern people consume food to feel good, comfortable or to self-reward, not to gain energy to exercise or to endure hard physical labor. Noticeably modern people eat for reducing a new unfamiliar type of stress. Can Tao Mao Healing System reduce this new type of stress more effectively? You bet. Imagine that some of the simple methods of Tao Mao Healing System have reduced the new type of stress in you and you have already felt more relaxed, calmer, happier and satisfied right before you eat, what would happen to your meals after you do not feel so "hungry" anymore? Great results have proved the effectiveness of Master Mao's teaching. (Read testimonials to understand more.)
The result of modern life styles on people is the accumulation of too much Qi in and around the face and head. At any given time each individual only possesses a certain amount of Qi (inner energy) which means that today’s people have Qi blocks and vacancies in the neck, torso, shoulders, back, hips, legs, feet, organs, meridians and more places. These blocks are preventing the Qi from going through people’s bodies for healing; therefore, people have depression, fatigue, weight problems and a weak immune system. In contrast, ancient life styles made people accumulate too much Qi in the body, not in the head. That is why for ancient people to connect heaven and earth was to flow Qi upwards to the head. For modern people, the energy must flow downwards to the organs, limbs, bones and muscles; otherwise, “healing methods” will not offer healing benefits to the modern people.
Is this the time for the evolution of existing healing methods? Nature says, “Yes!” Usually evolution occurs when nature has been pushed over the edge. Many people have been complaining, “I have tried so many different methods after I was convinced how good they were, but not only none of them has really worked for me but also I have been hurt by the side-effects of these popular methods…”
Therefore, Tao started
the evolution in Master Mao's teaching in the early 1980's:
Everything around us continually evolves to adapt to new life styles and environments.
Tai Ji Chuan (or Quan) and Qi Gong are surely no exceptions to the laws of evolution.
The Tai Ji Chuan evolution has been Chen style to Yang style to Wu style to Mao style.
The Mao Style, developed by Master K. C. Mao, presents this continuing Tao evolution and is named Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan. It has various and much more interesting and therapeutic left and right energy flows in one form.
The Mao style has a flexible approach: modern people who usually have busy schedule and limited time, can naturally practice it when and how much they feel they need, like reading a book. In general, due to the effectiveness of Mao style Tai Ji Quan and other methods people only need to practice around 20 to 40 minutes every other day to reap greater benefits, it is totally unlike what master Mao has learned. (Read the product description to better understand this.)
As modern human life gets less active, Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan as a unique form of exercise is more active to balance the trends of a more sedentary & inactive life style.
As our environment becomes more toxic, our bodies absorb more toxins. Tao Mao Healing System has adapted to become more efficient to break up the toxins, by enhancing the functions of the heart, lung, intestines and skin. More importantly, Tao Mao Healing System makes practitioners feel happier and more confident. Chinese Medicine and super computers have proved the fact: feeling bad can produce toxins inside the body, such as, feeling sad produces toxins around the heart, feeling angry produces toxins around the liver, feeling upset produces toxins around the stomach, etc.
Master Mao’s teachers or other Great Grand Masters, who were in the later stage of their lives, finalized some of the major forms of Tai Ji Quan. As a result, most of the old forms of Yang and Wu Tai Ji Chuan reflect that kind of aging energy. People generally misconceive that Tai Ji Quan was designed for elderly people, for sick and weak people to practice. Most Tai Ji Quan practitioners do not know that there is a Chen style set called “cannon fist”, which mature practitioners can move their fist as fast as cannon balls. Chen style was invented solely for fighting about 500 years ago. Given the facts of so many advanced modern weapons on the streets of U.S., Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan focus on creating health and happiness first, self-defense benefits second. Note: to improve health and fighting skill both have the same training techniques.
In the old Chinese culture, if one was fat, one was admirable and respectable. Some great grand masters fit this description. Now this kind of thinking is outdated in China and elsewhere in the world. In fact, all of Master Mao's students have been enjoying weight reduction and maintenance. Due to his focus on the leg, thigh, abdomen, buttocks and internal chemical transformation, students naturally feel no need to eat as much as they did before.
Practitioners may find much more variation and additions in Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan sets, but these changes are not new. Because Master Mao is strongly results oriented, he has been synthesizing the most effective methods of all the old Tai Ji Quan forms. That is why some practitioners regard the Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan sets as actually more traditional.
There is much more loose fist than open palm
in Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan than in other Yang and Wu forms. Practitioners
feel calmer, with more Qi in the center, while holding loose fists
than while opening palms and stretching all the fingers. This
situation is like trying to fall in sleep. You can observe the
hand situation while you make effort to sleep, are your fingers
curled or straight? Open palms is like opening windows when the
heater is on. Anybody can prove this fact if she/he just lets
intuition take over. Tao Mao Healing System
is based upon human instinct. People living in today’s
material world are wasting much more Qi than our ancestors who
had a much simpler life style thousands of years ago. That is
why Tao Mao Healing System has to be so specialized to balance
modern people's energy.
People usually are aware that Centering and Grounding are crucial for healing, but Master Mao reminds today's people that Backing (move Qi to the back and backside of the body) is more important. Discovering and emphasizing the importance of Backing is one of the factors, which make Tao Mao Healing System one of the most effective healing systems on earth. Millions of people have been devoted to Chinese or other healing arts. Some of them now find that almost all these healing methods focus on the front part and space of the human body. Master Mao has found this weakness and has corrected it with overwhelming success.
By following Confucian teaching principles, Master Mao listens to the natural demands of all his students, who live a modern life style, especially when they are not well because of new kinds of stress and illness.
Tao Mao Healing System can be updated more frequently than other healing arts. Whenever Master Mao and any practitioner discover the methods that are more effective for healing, the better ones replace the old ones.

6. What does Tao teach through Tao Mao Healing System?
Tao teaches:
“Inside out,” not “outside in” is the key for healing. Inside means self–controlled breathing energy flow, which produces bio-chemicals to improve your subconscious mind, thus you automatically improve your action. Tao Mao Tai Chi Quan can help the best. “Outside” means various help from outside of the soul and from the Universe. Outside help can only respond to and work with the inside to call upon.
Nature (Tao) has designed the human body to be a superior hunter and a tough survivor to adapt to the incredibly harsh environments and surroundings hundreds of thousands of years ago. Please imagine as superior hunters, how many various grueling activities and movements our ancestors had to endure to survive! Ancient body living in modern life definitely produces a lot of stress (agree?); Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan offers the most various movements to match the human body’s design to modern life style.
A good old American saying: “Use it or lose it “– if you do not use some parts of your body frequently enough, you lose them, from stiff to sore then to pain then to immobility, finally become crippled. This happens every day in today’s life. Then think about this: how can your mind and soul be happy while your body is complaining? Therefore, how can you not eat (inexpensive and fast) excessively to make you feel “better” while your mind and body are suffering from a modern life style?
Since research shows that one part of Qi is infrared, which is heat, how can we save more Qi or Chi for healing? The two major parts of human beings, which lose heat (Qi) quickly, are the head (including the face) and the palms. This simple fact means when you lose heat, you lose Qi.
By knowing that fact, Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan and Tao Mao Qi Gong or Chi Kong have evolved. They use many more loose fists instead of open palms. Note: It is useful to understand and remember this fact while reading further.
Imbalanced Qi causes stress and illness. Clearly, if people want to deal with stress and illness, people must balance their inner energy Qi. Tao Mao Healing System transforms a human being’s chemical activities through Tao Mao’s self-guided Qi movements. Again, Qi movements here mean a human being's biological chemical, electrical and magnetic energy movements, which are also part of Universal Energy. Practicing Tao Mao Healing System promotes a major internal shift, helping people to free themselves from addictive behaviors and gain happiness and relaxation more naturally.
Tao Mao Healing System reminds people the natural purpose of life is to be healthier and happier. When people are healthier, they feel more secure. Master Mao has studied hundreds of people, the conclusion: This inner message is so intuitive; there is no need to teach it to anybody. Health is like enriched soil. Happiness is like a plant, which can grow on good health.

8. What was the ultimate reason to create Tao Mao Healing System?
Master Mao has been receiving the energy of growing dissatisfaction of practicing out of date methods and forms. Numerous energy complaints have been inspiring Master Mao to be critical of what he has learned and what he was teaching. By creating a new healing System, Master Mao wants to minimize people’s physical, mental and emotional sufferings first and then move on to another higher physical, awareness and spiritual level.

9.
How does Tao Mao Healing System work for its practitioners?
Tao Mao Healing System invokes the spiritual nature of the invisible, which manifests in energy (Qi). The practice of Tao Mao Healing System is a reminder that people need to invite the spiritual to penetrate the material and physical in the healing process.
Tao Mao Healing System connects heaven and earth to balance the Yin and Yang inside the soul. Tao Mao Healing System supports the mind, body and spirit to become aligned in order to aid the healing process. The sources of mental and emotional stress are being revealed and transformed, while invigorating the spirit.
Proven results naturally have to go through these steps:
1. Move internally (learn from taking lessons)
2. Bio-Chemical Transformation
3. Subconscious Mind (controls your actions) Modification
4. Deep Personal Transformation
5. Optimally Balanced
6. Help from the Universe
7. Love from everywhere.
When you start to learn Tao Mao Healing System, it adapts to you, even though you are making progress all the time. It is a revolutionary learning system! Please think about this seriously to find its profound meanings.
Usually, practitioners can reap combined benefits just by doing Tao Mao Healing System for a short time every other day. These combined benefits include mild Yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong, Meditation, Physical Therapy, cardiovascular exercises and a deeper rest. (Beginners can identify these benefits in the first few lessons.)

10. What is the one profound reason for people to practice Tao Mao Healing System?
Studying Tao Mao Healing System meets individual needs for spirituality, health and happiness. Tao Mao Healing System naturally advances you with easy steps to the higher level of “hows,” not the “shoulds,” that everyone has been hearing and telling themselves too often. Life proves that the “shoulds” never work well, because people who tell you “shoulds” do not provide true links between the “you” now and the better “you” in the future. (If you remember what you read before, you know what "links" mean.)
Killers and mass murderers of any kind started their cruel decision and action with bad, evil energy inside of them. They are controlled by the bad, evil energy of revenge, because the energy inside of them is similar to the evil energy haunting back to them. These murderers of any kind cannot feel uneasy and disturbed to the degree for them to modify their behaviors, thus they do whatever their evil energy drives them to think and act.
Remember: one part of energy (Qi) can work magnetically; it has various frequencies like radio waves. Energy has different frequencies when it is outside bodies; as a result, like in a party, some people can feel their energy being matched. In conclusion, Energy has different qualities and type.
Now some of us can realize that if world leaders do not cultivate good energy inside themselves, only ordinary people have a dream: “We should have a peaceful world.” Will this dream come true? Back to Top

12. Why do people love Master Mao and what are his credentials?
Grand Master Guo Chun (K. C.) Mao has over 45 years of successful healing experience. He teaches with his heart. He cares for his students like caring himself, that is his habit. A good example, Master Mao loves questions for him, “the more questions the better.” He cares about every aspect of his students’ lives, only if his students ask for more of his attention, which might affect their spirit, health and happiness.
Master Mao applies unique, but simple methods to facilitate the communication between heaven and earth. When this connection is in place, Master Mao produces and radiates healing power to his clients and students; thus miracles have happened through his strong loving energy.
Master Mao’s teachers include top Chinese lineage Great Grand Masters like Chen Zhou Kui (Chen family), Wu Yin Hua, Ma Yu Liang (Wu family), and Fu Zhon Wen (Yang family); therefore Master Mao really knows what Tai Ji Quan is.
Master Mao emphasizes that practicing Tao Mao Healing System is a path of self-discovery, dissolving the heart (love, attention and mind) into one’s body and soul while moving. One can feel that one is pure, compassionate, and sympathetic, when moving the body with one’s whole heart. An old Chinese saying: “One must be compassionate to oneself, and then be able to be compassionate to others.” Because of deep spiritual practice, Master Mao's teaching proves that everyone can be very loving, whole-hearted and compassionate.
He has been devotedly practicing and teaching over 12 Tai Ji Quan sets and 300 kinds of Qi Gong since childhood. Master Mao obtains robust physical and mental condition himself through practicing increasingly effective healing methods. For the last 20 years, his aging process has dramatically slowed and even reversed in some areas of his body, as well as his students.
Master Mao teaches what he preaches. He believes, “One must love oneself first then one can love someone else. A living role model is the most effective way to teach.” He also follows a forgotten ancient rule, “Genuine healers must heal themselves first.”
Master Mao has been teaching some Olympic level athletes to enhance their performance by sharing internal techniques.
He has taught his internal healing methods in the UC Medical School in San Francisco, Stanford Medical School, Jackie Chan Self Help Center, Churches, temples, hospitals and other rehabilitation centers. As a result, Master Mao has obtained a lot of experience in working with any type of person.
He has received extensive education in Acupuncture and Bioscience. This kind of education not only aids Master Mao to select the most effective healing methods, but also to deliver his message much more clearly.
Top Chinese doctors have invited Master Mao to teach in China; they demanded “something China does not have and better” from Master Mao.
Author of “Balancing Energy for Health.”
Creator of, “Tao Mao System”, “Power Staff”, flash cards of “10 Internal Methods”, and more than six sets of Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan. Master Mao is a pioneer who speaks out to help people understand the nature of Qi, and to consider the perspective of how and why every issue about human life is the issue of Qi (or “Chi”, note: the Qi Master Mao talks about here is human biological energy, which is part of universal energy).
Many masters, healers, instructors and doctors have been studying and understanding the healing bottom line truth with Master Mao for over 30 years in both China and the U.S.
Psychologists have studied and researched with Master Mao. The topic was why and how the mind and the body are connected. Which way is better to improve the mind? Either try to improve mind through improving it directly or try to improve mind through improving body as well. There is another option: to improve human mind through improving human body only. Practitioners of Tao Mao Healing System know exactly which choice is the best.
Master Mao has often said, “I explain the reasons of everything I teach; they must be good not only for the short and medium term, but also for the long term as well, without any negative side effects.”
Students of Master Mao's students have already started successful teaching careers.
People who seek truth often say, “When one meets Grand Master Mao, one can tell he knows.”
Students of Master Mao and their students, who have traveled in the U.S and China to look for advanced Tai Ji Quan classes, have stated after their journeys, “The students there have not yet understood the most basic internal aspects.” “It made me realize that I am receiving the highest level of instruction from Master Mao.” “People practicing Tai Ji Quan in Shanghai asked me for instructions.” “Tai Ji Quan practitioners in Beijing were actually impressed by my performance.” (Try Master Mao’s individual classes and the products to know that this is true.)
Master Mao is a pioneer to define LOVE and STRESS taoly. Since 2001, his unique taoly explanation of these two widely used concepts has clarified some people's mind. Master Mao has invented a new English word - "taoly," which people can use in the way of their understanding.

13. What are the products of Tao Mao Healing System? Why are they so much more effective for your well-being?
Introduction of the products: please read all the free, but very valuable information to understand the big picture of Tai Ji Quan and Chinese healing principles.
All the modified Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan forms have similar effects. One of the most important aspects is that Tao Mao forms are not mainly for elderly students with weak minds, but are primarily for young, healthy and elderly people with a strong, open mind.
Master Mao emphasizes that his teachings are for today’s people, who often live a sedentary (inactive) lifestyle, not the Chinese peasants who lived hundreds of years ago. That is one of the logical reasons to modify and synthesize the traditional methods.
Master Mao and his associates have redesigned Tao Mao style Tai Ji Chuan to burn many more calories than the old forms.
The quality of human life, especially in the later stages, largely depends upon how well the lower half of our body can perform ON THE GROUND (not on floor mats or in the water). Since the fact that aging starts universally from the legs, Master Mao has placed a lot of attention toward strengthening the feet, ankles, knees, legs, thighs, abdomen, buttocks and hips. People did not need this kind of attention when living a farming life style hundreds of years ago. Even a few decades ago, the Chinese were still relying on bikes to commute.
Another important aspect of the Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan sets (forms) is that Master Mao has changed many open palm pushing to loose fist punches. Inwardly curled fingers can send precious Qi through the palm back to the body. Not only generating, but also reserving Qi is the balanced and wise approach highly valued when practicing Tao Mao internal arts. Those who know Qi know that where fingers point is where Qi goes. Master Mao’s internal awareness and his students’ intuitive suggestions have led him to make that change in Yang and Wu styles for the first time in Tai Ji Quan history.
Master Mao has made the Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan practitioner reap classically stated Chi (Qi) benefits much more easily. People just follow Mao’s unique, but simple movement sequences, and then people can retain all the major classically stated Chi benefits naturally, with pleasure and confidence. Many Tai Ji Chuan loyal practitioners have been telling Master Mao about their feelings when they tried hard to follow the classical “shoulds”. Now they just follow simple “hows”, not worrying about many “shoulds.”
Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan forms are much more fun to practice. Practitioners of Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan forms often comment, “Practicing them makes me want to practice more. They are so much more entertaining and invigorating.”
People have been discovering joy through circling motions. Human cultures reflect this fact in the expression of dancing and rituals. Master Mao has integrated more circling and spiraling movements into Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan. Practitioners can expect the natural outcome: a lot of pleasure.
Master Mao stresses, “Our bodies are the temples of our souls.” He instructs himself and his students that when practicing Tao Mao methods one must follow the pace of one’s soul to be faster or slower intuitively in order to cultivate inner peace.
Master Mao also emphasizes, “One must dissolve one’s heart (love) into one’s body and soul, while practicing Tao Mao Healing System, then the result will be so great that it can hardly be described by human languages.”
Master Mao has been optimizing Tao Mao Healing System constantly. He always says that the goal of his life is to help people live a more loving, joyful, genuine, creative, harmonious, and healthy life.
Viewers will learn a lot and get a sense of what the Tao Mao style is about by reading the products description below. People also can sense Master Mao loves people and his practice so much; he is doing everything he can to help people retain solid benefits naturally from trying Tao Mao Healing System. In order to avoid repetition, each written description of a Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan set contains just some of the characteristics, so if you'd like to know more about the difference between Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan and what he learned, also what people all of the world including people in China are practicing, please read more carefully.

Mao Yang Tai Ji Chuan : |

|

This modified form enables practitioners to reap classic benefits, such as Grounding and Centering much more efficiently and spontaneously. It retains most of the original sequence and spirit of the popular Yang 88 form.
Mao Yang style differs by not only offering the almost complete mirroring movements of the opposite side in one set, but also offering more of the TRUE Tai Ji spirit and wisdom, applying many retreating steps to absorb opponents' energy as well. In Tai Ji practice, retreating partners get stronger by accumulating more Qi, while attacking partners get weaker, like a flying arrow.
The recognized true Tai Ji spirit and wisdom is that Tai Ji Chuan masters always wait for someone else to attack first.
In addition, Master Mao selects various leg movements from different Tai Ji forms to insure sufficient blood supply to the brain. Research has confirmed a definite link between leg motions and the blood supply to the brain; this is one of Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan's specialties.
Practitioners feel like dancing, having fun, and feel much younger while doing any one of Mao Tai Ji Chuan sets, just a little touch to bring “the happy child” out of you and to be your authentic self.
Master Mao has also added “Drunken Brush Knees” and “Cat Step Punch” just to name a few, that make Tao Mao Tai Ji Chuan sets fun to practice. |

Mao Wu Tai Ji Chuan: |
|
|
|
 |
| |
|
This modified Wu form retains the spirit of Grand Master Wu Yin Hua and Ma Yu Liang.
It has five sections. K.C. Mao, his colleagues and students have eliminated the fifth section, which mainly repeats the second section. We have also reorganized a few unique movements in the original fifth section to the new fourth section, such as Golden Cook standing on one leg and Snake Sweep Down.
Each section starts from one of the four corners with a Single Whip, which is mirror image to each other. Master Mao has created four simple different starts from beginning to one of the four single whips. It enables practitioners to start from any section and to practice any of the five sections separately, depending upon which section people find weaker, or more beneficial, or more suitable or more pleasant for their time and constraints. Some traditional methods usually did not offer this kind of choice or flexibility.
Master Mao has added circling leg motions - Silk Cocoon Energy, in the original forms. This kind of hip motion makes people happier and creates extra strong hips plus extra firm buttocks and thighs for people who practice the Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan forms just several minutes a day or a little more every other day.
Master Mao's Tai Ji Chuan “Chuan=Fists” fits its name by changing most Palm Pushing to Fist Striking. Tai Ji Chuan actually means, “Tai Ji Martial Art Fist Routine.”
When doing palm pushing, all ten fingers point upward and palms push forward. Naturally, where human fingers & palms point and face, is where Qi, the precious energy goes. Pointing fingers upward not only harms the classic Grounding effort, but also means that the practitioner's Qi wastefully goes into the air. One piece of classical advice is to feel the Qi gathering more in the center of the body, not in and around the hands, where Qi leaks easily.
Tao: it is much easier to lose Qi than to generate and conserve it. It is always good for anyone to conserve and utilize Qi efficiently at any time. (See more reasons in original Tai Ji Chuan Chen second set.)
Students who have practiced the old Wu forms for many years feel that the synthesized Mao Wu form is fun, energetic as well as easy to learn.
Master Mao has adjusted the torso position to make the practitioners' back upright just like Wu style's parent Yang style, and its grand parent Chen style. This modification prevents practitioners from overstressing their backs.

Mao Blended Tai Ji Chuan form: |

Master Mao adds much more of the left side mirroring movements. This modified 48 Form was well known for additional left side movements. This new form can really help people prevent brain imbalances and age related mental diseases, and more importantly, research concludes that using more of the weak side of the body can help prevent Stroke.
It also proves that these interesting alternative moves can greatly improve the practitioners' creativity, because of a link between cognitive activities and internal Qi movements.
While practicing Mao 48 Form (note: all the Tao Mao forms have similar effects.) one feels like honoring one's spirit and celebrating one's body as nature's wonder.
After practicing Tao Mao forms, one ignites oneself with “I am in harmony”, “I have rejuvenated myself”, “I am revitalized”, “I am in a higher state of consciousness” and “I feel pure.”
By adapting the original form's valuable techniques, now the movement Cloud Hands has switch direction and turn around . The famous original 48 Form is a typical example of how Tai Ji Chuan forms have been evolving as human life styles have been changing rapidly.

This is exactly like the original, except changing some open hands to loose fists in order to reserve more Qi. You will enjoy watching how K.C. Mao uses Qi to practice this set.
By learning and practicing this set, taught by Master Mao you can create a profound shift in the ways you move.
He will add much more left side mirroring movements just like in aforementioned Tao Mao Tai Ji Quan forms.
Recently, many studies have discovered and confirmed great physical and especially mental benefits from using as much of our weak side as possible. The original Masters were only aware of this phenomenon to a certain extent.

Chen Tai Ji Chuan Second Set ( Cannon Fist ): |
|
|
|
 |
| |
|
Master Mao started to learn Chen sets and other Tai Ji forms from the Great Grand Master Chen Zhao Kui and other masters in the early 1960's.
Master Mao has always realized that there is much more striking with fists (fists = Chuan in Chinese) in Original Tai Ji Chuan forms than in the Yang and Wu forms. ( note: the Chinese originally named this form Cannon Fist )
Chen style sets show more natural fighting skills unlike using a lot of palm pushing as in the original Yang and Wu styles. Using fists in fighting is much more common for human beings. Using fists in fights protects fingers while striking fast to induce heavier damages, and to conserve much more Qi than using palm pushes. Research shows that human beings lose heat (heat is always with energy: Qi) primarily through the head, face and palms.
History tells us that the original Yang style Tai Ji Chuan creator had promised then Chen Master not to reveal the Chen Tai Ji Chuan secrets. That promise had caused later Yang and Wu forms to apply much more palm pushing to conceal the Chen style secrets. On the other hand, Yang and Wu styles have some good moves that the Chen style does not have.
There are more loose fists than the original set for the same wise reasons aforementioned.

Mao Yang style Double Edge Sword Set first set: |
|
|
|
 |
| |
|
This set has been lightly modified as compared to Mao Yang and Mao Wu fist forms. The newer form retains the exact same sequence as the original one, but at some points, the lightly modified version can help practitioners gain more internal and external health benefits by switching the hand holding sword. People often report that they feel more balanced after practicing this set than practicing the original one. 0

Mao Wu Double Edge Sword Set (Wu Yin Hua, Ma Yu Liang Style): |
|
|
|
 |
| |
|
Grand Master Ma and Wu developed this style.
This Tai Ji Sword set has a large selection of beautiful movements.
After Master Mao asked Great Grand Master Ma for suggestions on how he could improve the sword set and fist set, he frankly said to him and his other students at that time, “You are doing so well. I can't correct you any more in this sword set or the fist forms.” Nevertheless, K.C. Mao knew progress had no limit; he has been improving his practice and teaching consistently.
One must learn well first, and then create ones' own style.

Mao Chen Double Edge Sword Set: |
|
|
|
 |
| |
|
Master Mao has modified it following the same internal results oriented principle. Practitioner with some experience feel much more satisfied after practicing this modified version, one of the reasons is that practitioners switch hands which hold sword quite frequently. This technique can balance practitioners' Qi more effectively, which people hardly find in any other sword form. Imaging in a fight, it one's right arm or hand got hurt, he could not use weapon with the left arm, what would happen to this fighter?

TEN peerless TAO Inner Methods:
People are saying this after experiencing The Ten Inner Methods, “Energy arrives while stress departs in just seconds or minutes .” Feel for yourself!
These simple methods can make your life incredible and much easier. For instance, one can fall sleep much more quickly without pills, feel happier, be at peace, look nicer, feel more confident, feel relieved or energized… in just seconds or minutes after doing these simple internal exercises.
This is another good example that Master Mao teaches “how” instead teaches, “Should”, which suppose to be just the results. In this world , many gurus or superior masters, educators teach mostly just “should”, that kind of time wasting methods may sound amazing and appealing, but facts prove that teaching “should” makes people subconsciously confused, frustrated and then depressed. Many people told Master Mao that almost all the “teachers” usually do not offer an internal link between the person who one was then and the desired goals that person should reach. If there is no link provided, then whatever they teach including Master Mao's teaching won't work. Again Link means: Qi flow therapy- promotes right chemical activities- Changes chemical setting-Improves subconscious mind-Finally cultivates better mind and body related habits.
Master Mao has a different approach, for example: Drawing energy into every part of one's body can help spiritual people to feel mindfulness; it also can help ordinary be a good listener or show respect.
